just a spectrum of light

 

찬란한 빛의 스펙트럼 같았지

They reached 

 

그 사람은 내 이성의 가운데로

 

to my center of reason

 

다가와서

 

And pulled on the touchstone 

 

처음처럼 그 곳에 존재하고 있었던

 

that´s there

 

시험의 기준을 자극했어

 

The shock of that light 

 

난 그 불빛(자극)에 놀라서

 

had me reeling

 

동요되었고

 

And I fell into the depths of despair

 

절망의 나락으로 떨어졌어

Turning the key,

 

문을 닫고

 

I sat and spoke

 

자리에 앉아

 

to those inside of me

 

내 안의 그들과 이야기를 나누었어

 

 

They answered my questions 

 

그들은 여러가지 질문으로

 

with questions

 

다시 내 질문에 대답하더군

 

 

And set me to stand on the 

 

해와 달이 형제가 되어

만나는 곳의 가장자리에

 

Where the sun and the moon 

 

날 서있게 했어

1971년 영국 런던에서 결성됨.

 

맨프레드 맨스 어스 밴드(Manfred Mann's Earth Band)는

영국 출신의 '프로그레시브 록 밴드'로 남아공 출신의 키보디스트

 '맨 프레드 맨'이 영국 런던에서 1971년에 결성했다.

 

 

 

 

'Questions'는 영국출신의 프로그레시브 록밴드 '맨프레드 맨스 어스 밴드'

 

(Manfred Mann's Earth Band,)의 1976년에 발표한 7번째

 

스튜디오 앨범 "The Roaring Silence"에 실려있으며 

 

 

 

 

 

"슈베르트 즉흥곡 3번 D 899 Op.90-3" 기반으로 한 곡으로

 

우리나라 팬들이 특히 더 사랑하고 좋아하는 곡이며 아름답고도

 

몽환적인 감성으로 가득해서 오랫동안 사랑받는 명곡이다.
